DECREE No. 09/2002/ND-CP of January 14, 2002 dissolving Chi Linh district town for the establishment of Ben Tam township of Chi Linh rural district and renaming Ninh Tho commune of Ninh Giang rural district, Hai Duong province, as Hong Phong commune.
To dissolve Chi Linh district town of Chi Linh rural district. Inhabitants of Chi Linh township who are living in any commune shall be managed by that commune.
To establish Ben Tam township of Chi Linh rural district with a natural land area of 412.88 hectares and a population of 5,703.
To rename Ninh Tho commune of Ninh Giang rural district as Hong Phong commune.-
