Justice news in brief 15/3
* To implement the Decision No.152/ QD-UBND of the provincial People’s Committee approving the Project improving the organisational structure and operation of legal agencies in Soc Trang province for 2011-2015, Soc Trang provincial Department of Justice issued Official Letter No 48/ ST-XD&THVBQPPL proposing to establish the legal agencies of Departments and Sectors.
* Lai Chau province carried a survey to examine the cases without citizenship in 21 border communes. The survey found 61 stateless cases that met all conditions stipulated at Article 22 of the Law on Vietnamese Nationality and 39 stateless cases that did not meet all conditions stipulated at Article 22 of the Law on Nationality.
* On March 9, Hoa Binh provincial People’s Committee issued Official Letter requiring Department of Natural Resources and Environment, Department of Justice, district People’s Committee to effectively implement the stipulations on secured transaction registry in the Decree No.05/ 2012/ ND-CP dated February 02, 2012 of the Government.
