Justice news in brief 4/6
* On June 1, Deputy Minister Pham Quy Ty accompanied by leaders of National Center for Criminal record, Department of Information Technology and Ministry’s Office had a working session with Hai Duong provincial Department of Justice to examine the judicial work in the first six months of 2012, the implementation of the Law on criminal record. On the same day, the working delegation worked with the provicial Department of Civil Judgement Enforcement.
* On May 31, the compilation committee and the editorial group for the draft Law on grassroot conciliation held the fourth meeting to comment the 6th draft of the Law. Minister Ha Hung Cuong chaired the meeting. The delegates gave comments relating to concepts as “ grassroot”, “ conflict”, “ dispute”...; requirement of conciliation, criteria for conciliator… in the draft Law.
* Quang Ngai provincial People’s Committee issued Decision No. 83/ QD-UBND dated May 28, 2012 promulgating the Plan on legal monitoring for 2012. Accordingly, the provincial Department of Justice will be responsible for directly monitoring the legal implementation of handling administratve violations at 3 agencies ( including Quang Ngai municipal People’s Committee, Duc Pho district People’s Committee and Forest sub-department under Department of Agriculture and Rural Development.
