Minister Ha Hung Cuong received General Procuracy official Ukrainian delegation

On May 20, Justice Minister Ha Hung Cuong had courtesy meeting with Mr. Voytsyshen Viktor Dmitrievich - Deputy Director and General Procuracy official Ukrainian delegation on the occasion of his working visit to Vietnam.

Seminar on French Constitutional Council

Ministry of Justice on May 08 held the seminar sharing experience on French Constitutional Council. This was an event in the 2013 plan of the cooperation program between Ministry of Justice and French embassy. Deputy Minister Hoang The Lien and Ms Nguyen Thi Kim Thoa, Director of Criminal and administrational Department co-chaired the seminar.

The first meeting of the steering committee for national legislative development project

On May 6, Ministry of Justice in coordination with Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA) held the first meeting of the steering committee for national legislative development project. Deputy Minister Dinh Trung Tung and Ms Victoria Sutherland, CIDA country director, co-chaired the meeting.

Seminar on organisational models of judicial agencies- international experience and proposals for Vietnam

Ministry of Justice on May 3 held the seminar on organisational models of judicial agencies- international experience and proposals for Vietnam. This is an activity planned in the 2013 action plan of the justice partnership program (JPP) funded by EU, Denmark and Sweden. Deputy Minister Hoang The Lien and Mr Bryan Fornani, Head of economic cooperation and governance section under EU delegation in Vietnam, co-chaired the seminar.

On March 30, Minister Ha Hung Cuong had a working session with Quang Ninh provincial Party’s Committeee to discuss the pilot project on creating the Van Don special administrative-economic zone and Mong Cai no-tariff border gate.

Retirement and appointment decision awarding to leaders of the Department

On March20, at the meeting of the Ministry leaders, Minister Ha Hung Cuong was awarded the decision to retire for Mr. Tran That, Director of Judicial Administration Department and the decision in charge for comrades Nguyen Thi Nga, Deputy Director of Legal Dissemination and Education Department and Nguyen Van Hien, Deputy Director of the Institute of legal Science.
