On September 23, at the Central Adoption Authority of Ireland’ headquarter, Vietnamese Minister of Justice Ha Hung Cuong and the Minister for Children and Youth Affairs Frances Fitzgerald witnessed the signing of Memorandum of Understanding on the administrative procedures applied in handling adoption cases between Vietnam and Ireland within the framework of the Hague Convention on protection of children and co-operation in the field of international adoption. This is the first document that the central agency for international adoption of Vietnam has signed with Central Authority for International Child Adoption of the nation receiving the child, which is also a member of the Hague Convention on the protection of children and co-international cooperation in the field of adoption, since the Hague Convention came into force in Vietnam on February 01, 2012.

On September 22, the Ministry of Justice’s delegation led by Minister Ha Hung Cuong land to Ireland to kick off its working visit to the Republic of Ireland, Netherlands and Hessen State (Germany).

On the occasion of 10 years anniversary of Young Leaders Programme (YLP) - one of the legal education scholarship programs of the Japan Government for the Vietnamese young leaders and other developing countries in the world presented by the Faculty of Law, Kyushu University, Japan. Kyushu University delegation led by Professor Toshiyuki Kono, Director of YLP program with the top 09 law professors has the courtesy meeting with Justice Deputy Minister Le Thanh Long at the MOJ headquarter on September 17.

On September 18, Minister of Justice Ha Hung Cuong held a courtesy meeting with Ms. Torda Eszter, new Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Hungary on the occasion of her new working term in Vietnam.

In the framework of the project " Legal and Judicial System Reform- Phase 2" funded by the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), from September 05 to 13, the Ministry of Justice sent a survey and law enforcement practices law on state compensation delegation to Japan. The delegation included 8-member led by Deputy Minister Pham Quy Ty.

On September 13, Deputy Minister Hoang The Lien hosted a reception to Ms Victoria Sutherland, Counsellor of Canadian Embassy to Vietnam.

In the period from September 06 to 09, Ministry of Justice’s senior official delegation of Laos led by Minister Chaleun Yiapaoher and his wife arrived in Quang Binh for Ceremony30th anniversary of judicial cooperation between Vietnam and Laos. The Ceremony hosted by the Vietnamese Ministry of Justice in collaboration with the Provincial Commissioner, Quang Binh provincial people's Committee on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of establishing diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Laos, to mark 35th anniversary of the signing of the Treaty of cooperation and friendship Vietnam - Laos and the 30th anniversary of the signing of the legal agreement between the Ministry of Justice of Vietnam and the Lao Ministry of Justice.

Deputy Minister Le Thanh Long on September 05 had a meeting with Mr Ricardo Li Rosi, General Director of AIEJ to discuss matters of mutual concern. Attending the reception was also Mr Alberto Jaime Kaminker, Argentinean Ambassador to Vietnam.

Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung on September 5 in Ha Noi received Lao Minister of Justice Chaleuan Yapaoher who is paying a working visit to Việt Nam.

On September 4, the senior delegation from Lao Ministry of Justice led by Minister Chaleuan Yapaoher started its working visit to Vietnamese Ministry of Justice.
